“ADCP’s in Action”

On Oct 2-5, 2011 Teledyne RD Instruments hosted its 8th highly successful ADCPs in Action Users’ Conference in San Diego, California, where nearly 200 Teledyne RDI ADCP and DVL users and industry partners converged on Mission Bay to share information and learn from each other during this 3-day event. RDSEA’s Founder and President has participated in every ADCP’s in Action in San Diego since it’s’ inaguaral meeting, having been involved in many ADCP applications since the late 1980s. The successful deployment and recovery of two deep water mooring systems with "DVS" ADCPs installed on the moorings in the Indian Ocean for the First Institute of Oceanography, Qingdao, China was presented and discussed.
