Marine Technology Society (MTS) 2021 Buoy Workshop: “Moored Systems of the Future”

The 14th Buoy Workshop, Rescheduled from 2020 to October 25-27 2021, in Wilmington, North Carolina.  Our host for the 2021 meeting will be the University of North Carolina, Wilmington (UNCW) and the Coastal Ocean Research and Monitoring Program (CORMP), established in 2000.  CORMP operates coastal monitoring stations along the Carolina's coastline (North and South).   Data and information collected is used to: increase maritime safety, improve forecasting of coastal hazards, support ecosystem management and living marine resources and to better understand local coastal climate patterns through long-term time-series.  CORMP  is a member of and collaborates with the Southeast Coastal Ocean Observing Regional Association (SECOORA) of NOAA IOOS. Please join us for updates of "all-things-ocean buoys".  We hope everyone is safe and healthy and  look forward to seeing you all soon, it has been a while.
